Evergreen Printing has installed 5,924 solar panels. This is a 1.2 MW solar field which offsets about 40% of Evergreen’s electric requirements.

Evergreen’s plant wide self-audit of energy usage results in energy saving initiatives that reduce power consumption by making heating, cooling and lighting modifications.

Proper handling of paper, plates, fountain solutions and other products is a critical aspect of running a clean and efficient facility. We follow strict guidelines for safe and proper usage and reclamation.

Our use of process-free plates has 0% environmental impact and is 100% chemical free. Plates are laser imaged and go straight to press, eliminating what was previously a chemical wash prior to mounting plates on press. A typical processor uses 600 gallons of chemicals, 10,000 gallons of water and 5,500 kWh of electricity annually. We have eliminated processing chemistry which saves water and energy.
